Happy Mother's Day!

When it comes to mom's, I pretty much got the "Limited" edition!
I went to work on her card and it came together pretty quick.  YAY!
How cute is this? I just noticed it has a lot of the same colors as my last card...hmmm. I am diggin' SU's Baja breeze color currently and I just tend to gravitate towards the summery colors this time of year...the color is off a tad in the picture (darn cell phone camera and darn me for being too lazy to go get my real camera).

Every year I ask for the same thing #1 wake up to a clean house and #2 sleep in!  14 years and still waiting ;)
Have a wonderful day all you MUTHA's!

Happy Birthday Jessie

Made this card for my co-worker Jessie, her birthday is Saturday...
And only a card this pretty would be suitable for someone as beautiful as Jessie :)
I have a hard time sitting down to do these cards when the sun is smiling outside...must find time!

Babies everywhere...

Made this for a co-workers daughter, whthis boyk!  It gave me an excuse to do my first baby card!  Lots of fun.
Has anyone else noticed how many pregnant women and babies are around? I love it ♥!  Babies are such an amazing miracle and nothing brings a smile to my face like the sound of a laughing baby.

"If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle." ~ Vincent Van Gogh

Happy Birthday DAWNERS

Today is my girly Dawn's birthday and it forced me to get back into the creative mood.  I blame the lull of creativity on my overdose of Vitamin D (i.e. SUN) in Cali.  I had an amazing time and it was a much needed weekend away with warm sunshine chasing the blah from my winter brain.
So here's the card I made for Dawn (I forgot to take a picture when it was done so a snapshot from my iPhone will have to do)...it was fun, even Jojo caught the crafty bug and made one of his own for his favorite Dawn. After we delivered the cards and present, we decorated Dawn's truck with balloons and window markers! *FUN*
Happy Birthday Dawn!  Have a wonderful day, thanks for being born!

TGIF...so to speak!

While it's Friday for most, it's my work week Monday.  I had an awesome day today, driving truck for work.  Hauling an Excavator is invigorating and makes me smile...Yes major girl power here! I came home pumped, happy and feeling crafty!
Here's a card I started last night but had to leave unfinished for my favorite TV show.  I made it for my sister!  I am really proud of this one.  I love the colors and ribbon that I found on clearance! I love a good sale and since I have started with stamps, I have found myself looking at everything with a different perspective...."what could I do with you?"
Thanks for looking :)

Perfectly Plum

I do believe it's my absolute favorite of my colors.  I just heard from my daughter, they are moving into their new apartment on March 1st. Good thing I was in the house-warming/card-making mode today :) So it was quick and easy.....
Nice, my "q" key just informed me it likes me to be rough with it (Sorry .. have I mentioned I have AdHd and I can venture off into total randomness without a seconds notice?) So with two months of some one's children using my laptop they have managed to almost decapitate my screen from the keyboard and now Miss "Q" needs to be hit hard to be able to function!
Oh my Helen of Troy, I can't wait for my California mini vacay!  Nine days and counting......
I used white card stock for the base and scalloped plum card stock. SU stamp: Cottage Garden and Ink:Whisper White.
I also used some Mosaic glass tiles that I had stored in my supply closet ;)

Unleashed some creativity!

Hooray,  I have finished my first "all by myself" card!  I made this for my girly that is about to move into her new home and it will accompany their house warming gift.
☼ I know it's a Plain Janer yet I am excited non the less and I still have time to go out on a bike ride with my boys! ☼
